Are you interested in working within the Music sector and studying at Higher level? Relevant job profiles would be production assistant, sound technician, studio manager, runner, master engineer, recording engineer and monitor engineer. Riverside Studios will provide you with knowledge and understanding of the techniques used by the modern Recording Engineer. The programme will be delivered in a professional recording studio and will include Multitrack Recording and Mixing, Digital Recording and Editing.
Tuesday & Wednesday afternoon ( 1.30pm to 4pm )

Sound Engineering and Production
Sound Music Remixing
Music: Promotion in the Music Industry
Music: An Introduction to the UK Music Industry
Appreciation of Music
A one year full time course National Certificate ( NC ) or National Qualification ( NQ ) course, in a related of study such as Sound Production, Sound Recording or Music Technology at a college of further education.
A full time higher education course, such as a Higher National Certificate ( HNC ), Higher National Diploma ( HND ) or degree, in Sound Production or Audio Technology.
The level you might enter would depend on the level and relevance of your other qualifications.
