Artist development projects

Riverside Artist Development project is a well received programme for young bands with members aged between 14 and their early 20's, based around a series of rehearsals, performance and instrument skilled workshops. It incorporates recording, production and distribution of compilation albums of original tracks and C.D single releases from the bands engaged in different levels of the programme.
Over the period the project has grown and enjoyed a healthy level of support and success. Last year a decision was taken to revamp the programme, and with stow college on board as an educational partner, a new workshop programme was created which runs as a series of fully accredited SQA / NC (national certificate) modules and which mirrors the project activities. Participants can now gain up to four NC's on each level, adding to their educational portfolio, while continuing to develop their creative abilities.
